OUR STORY
Inspired by the laidback lifestyle of The Entrance, as well as the beaches, bays and waterways that we call home, we welcome locals and tourists alike with open arms.
At the heritage listed Lakes Hotel, right in the heart of The Entrance, it’s all about enjoying the simple things in life – tasty food, chilled drinks and plenty of good times, something we’ve proudly been doing since we opened our doors back in 1940.

Our new look
We’re excited to show off the refreshed, reimagined Lakes Hotel. Now, a casual, contemporary pub – still offering the warmest of hospitality, but with a brand new vibe. Bergstrom Architects – who’ve overseen the recent renovations of our sister venues Hotel Gosford, Hotel Jesmond and The Banjo Paterson Inn, Jindabyne – have been busy over the last 12 months transforming our space.
The Entrance has always been one of the Central Coast’s most loved coast-side destinations. Drawing inspiration from the region’s history, beloved beach culture throughout the decades and the art deco architecture of our venue, Bergstrom Architects have modernised the Lakes Hotel into a venue that makes you feel that every day is a holiday. From the fresh, coastal inspired colour palette to the contemporary decor and brand new bar, the reimagined Lakes Hotel is the place to be this summer!
